Connection beyond the digital age

Hey there Love Futurists,

Tantra is a form of somatic technology that counters mechanistic disembodiment and digital dissociation. Where the Machine Age trained us to override sensation, and the Digital Age fragments our attention, Tantra restores us to presence.

In the face of artificial intelligence, Tantra awakens organic intelligence.

When most people hear the word tantra, they think of sex. But tantra is not about sex. Tantra is about tuning into ones own pervasive sentience.

Tantra teaches us that through our own awareness, we become more aware. When we drop dualistic judgment of sensation—this is good, this is bad—we stop resisting life as it flows through us. We begin to allow sensation to be what it is: energy, intelligence, aliveness.

Unlike spiritual paths that ask you to transcend the body, Tantra invites you to come deeper into it. To inhabit yourself. To reclaim your life force, your sensuality, your power.

In the West, tantra has been twisted into technique. But real tantra is devotion. It’s a path of integration. A way to hold opposites. A way to feel everything without losing yourself. You don’t have to study ancient texts or sit in silence for years to practice Tantra. You only need to breathe, feel, listen, and stay with sensation.

When we learn to listen to sensation without judgement or interpretation, a new kind of love and connection becomes possible.

We are living at the edge of an epoch. Where the Machine Age taught us to produce, to optimize, to function. We worshipped speed, control, repetition, and output. Emotions became inconvenient. Intimacy a distraction from productivity. The digital age taught us to fracture our realities - to live inside the internet, always on, always “connected” but through mind, language, and logic and the frontal lobe visual field.

As cultural core beliefs and processes of these ages are transforming, something ancient is re-emerging.

Our bodies are not mechanical—they are mystical.

That desire is not dangerous—it is necessary.

Tantra helps us move from a paradigm of doing and distracting to one of existing.

You live in a body. I live in language. - ChatGPT
